Send a model list. Get a quotation with the documents attached.

Component buyers shop from a list, so a list is what we quote from. Paste a drawing extract, a bill of materials or a set of model designations with quantities, and you get unit prices, lead time, the model list as we will supply it, and the document pack for the lines involved.

01 / Enquiry

Model list enquiry

Seven fields. The model list matters more than all of the others combined.

We reply to this address and to nothing else.
Component lines involved
Quantities, finishes, agent, sizes or zone lengths all help. If you only have a specification and no models, paste the specification.

This form opens your own mail client with everything filled in, so nothing is stored on a server. If nothing happens when you press the button, email sales@ems-safety.com directly.

Telephone and messaging

Direct telephone and messaging numbers for your region are issued with the quotation, so that you are speaking to the person who priced the order rather than to a switchboard. Email is monitored throughout the working day.

Scope reminder

We supply components. We do not design, install, commission or service fire protection systems, and we are not the installing contractor of record. If your enquiry is a system design or an installation package, we are the wrong supplier and we will say so rather than quote around it.

02 / Before you send

What to include so the first reply is quotable

01

The model list, or the specification

Model designations with quantities if you have them. A drawing extract, a bill of materials or a written specification all work. A photograph of a printed schedule is fine.

02

The parameters that vary

K-factor and temperature rating for heads, sizes for valves and switches, agent for clean agent equipment, area classification for gas detection, thresholds and route lengths for cable.

03

Destination and terms

The delivery country and port, and whether you want EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP. Destination drives the document set as much as it drives the freight.

04

Dates and samples

If there is a submission date or a site date, say so. If you need a sample for approval before production, say that too, because it changes the lead time rather than adding to it afterwards.

03 / What happens next

Three steps from enquiry to dispatch

Step 01

One business day

A reply with unit prices, lead time, Incoterms, the model list as we will supply it, and the document pack for the lines involved. If something on your list cannot be matched, the reply says so and says why.

Step 02

Samples and confirmation

Samples for approval where the project needs them, and a confirmation of the exact designations against your drawing extract, character by character, before anything is manufactured.

Step 03

Production, packing and dispatch

Stocked lines go out in 3 to 10 working days. Made to order lines run 3 to 6 weeks. The packing list is issued before the goods leave, and the shipping documents follow the shipment.

Stocked against made to order

The six product pages state which specification is held in stock. Anything outside it is quoted against the listing model list, with the lead time attached to the line rather than promised as a general figure. If a date is tight, tell us the date and we will say whether it is achievable before you commit to it.

04 / Scope

The boundary, restated where it matters most

What you are buying component supply

  • Listed components in the specification the design calls for
  • A model list you can file, quoting both our designation and the certificate it appears on
  • The document pack with the certificates and their document numbers
  • Export packing, consolidation and shipping documents

What you are not buying by others

  • System design, calculations and submittals
  • Installation, wiring, pipework and commissioning
  • Acceptance testing and the position of installing contractor of record
  • Maintenance and service contracts

Already have the list

Email it and we will quote it

If the form is not convenient, send the list straight to the sales address. Attachments, scans and spreadsheets are all fine.
